Beaver Dams,
New
York is
a charming community tucked away in the heart
of the Finger
Lakes region of Schuyler

Lakes region of New York is known for its

Glen State Park has a breathtaking
natural gorge trail that includes one of the
Finger Lakes' most famous gorges.
Schuyler County history is preserved by various
museums scattered throughout the area. The
Schuyler County Historical Society, located
in Montour Falls, New York, has an impressive collection
of local artifacts and genealogical information. The
Corning Museum of Glass holds some of the
most rare and exquisite art works in glass. This Upstate
NY area is known as the "Soaring Capital of
the World". The area's aviation heritage can be
explored at The
National Soaring Museum in Big Flats, The
National Warplane Museum at the Elmira-Corning
Regional Airport and The
Glenn H. Curtiss Museum, in Hammondsport.
Beaver Dams is a mere seven miles from Watkins
Glen, widely known for the Watkins
Glen International speedway and NY's annual Finger
Lakes Wine Festival. As the seat of Schuyler
County, Watkins Glen is home to thriving
companies such as Cargill
Salt and BMS
Manufacturing. Between the tourism,
agriculture, retail and manufacturing industries,
Schuyler County has a substantial economic
base that promises a bright future for new and

higher learning within an hours drive including
Ithaca
College, Cornell
University also in Ithaca, Hobart
